Here's how to install an app in Confluence
- Access the Apps Section
To begin installing a new app, navigate to the left-hand sidebar and click on the "Apps" menu item. This will expand a list of your currently installed apps and options to explore more.
- Explore the App Marketplace
From the expanded "Apps" menu, select "Explore more apps". This action will redirect you to the Confluence marketplace, where you can browse and discover new applications.
- Find and Select the App
In the marketplace, locate the specific app you wish to install. For this guide, we're using "Custom Charts for Confluence". Click on the app's card to open its detailed information page.
- Initiate Free Trial
On the app's detail page, you will find an option to start a free trial. Click the "Try it free" button to begin the installation process and evaluate the app's features.
- Select Confluence Site
A pop-up will appear asking you to select the Confluence site where you want the app installed. Choose the appropriate site from the dropdown menu, then click "Review" to proceed.
- Confirm Installation
Review the app's details, including permissions and pricing information. Once you are satisfied, click the "Start free trial" button to finalize the installation of the app to your selected Confluence site.
- Verify Installation
After clicking "Start free trial", a confirmation message will appear, indicating that your app has been successfully added to your Confluence instance and is ready for use.
