Here's how to add a remove tag action in Manychat

  1. Navigate to Automations

From your Manychat dashboard, locate and click the 'Automation' option in the left-hand sidebar. This will take you to a list of your existing automation flows.

  2. Select an Automation Flow

On the 'Automation' page, choose the specific automation flow where you want to add the 'Remove Tag' action by clicking on its entry in the list.

  3. Add a New Step

Within the automation flow editor, click the blue '+' button, usually located in the top-right corner, to open the menu for adding new steps to your flow.

  4. Choose the 'Actions' Block

Scroll down the step selection menu until you find the 'Logic' section, then click on 'Actions' to add an action block to your automation flow.

  5. Add a 'Remove Tag' Action

Click the '+ Action' button inside the newly added Actions block. In the modal that appears, select 'Contact data' from the left menu, then choose 'Remove Tag' from the options.

  6. Select the Tag to Remove

Click the text field next to 'Remove Tag' and select the specific tag you wish to remove from the dropdown list. This tag will now be removed when a subscriber reaches this step in the flow.
