Here's how to add a new field to an airtable form in Airtable

  1. Access the Forms Section

    Navigate to your Airtable base and click on the 'Forms' tab located in the top navigation bar to view your forms.

  2. Select Your Form

    From the list of forms, click on the specific form you intend to modify by adding a new field.

  3. Initiate New Field Creation

    In the form editor, hover your cursor between existing fields until a blue '+' icon appears. Click this icon to open the field selection menu.

  4. Define the New Field

    In the field selection menu, click on '+ Create field'. Then, choose a field type and enter a name for your new field in the pop-up dialog.

  5. Confirm and Publish

    After defining the field, click 'Create field' in the dialog. Finally, click the 'Publish' button at the top right of the screen to apply your changes to the live form.
