  1. Access Your View

First, navigate to your Airtable base and open the specific table. Then, select the view from the left sidebar where you intend to apply multiple groupings.

  2. Initiate Grouping

Locate and click the "Group" button in the toolbar at the top of your view. This action will open a dropdown menu with grouping options.

  3. Select Primary Grouping Field

In the grouping dropdown, click "See all fields" to view all available fields. Choose the first field you want to use for your primary grouping.

  4. Set Sort Direction

After selecting your primary grouping field, choose the desired sort direction (e.g., Latest → Earliest) to organize the records within this group.

  5. Add Subgroup

To add a secondary grouping, click "Add subgroup" within the grouping panel. Then, select another field from the list to create a nested group.

  6. Apply Additional Groupings

Continue to click "Add subgroup" and select fields as needed to create more levels of grouping, structuring your data hierarchically.
