Here's how to add multiple sort conditions to a view in Airtable

  1. Access Your Airtable Base and Table

Begin by opening the Airtable base and the specific table where your records are located. This is the starting point for applying any sorting rules.

  2. Select the Desired View

From the left-hand sidebar, click on the view you wish to apply the multiple sort conditions to. Ensure you are in the correct view before proceeding.

  3. Open the Sort Menu

Locate and click the "Sort" button in the toolbar at the top of your Airtable view. This action will open the sorting options.

  4. Add the First Sort Condition

In the sort menu, select the first field you want to sort your records by. Then, choose the desired order (e.g., ascending or descending) for this primary sort.

  5. Add Additional Sort Conditions

To add more sorting criteria, click "+ Add another sort". Repeat the process of selecting a field and its sort order. You can add multiple conditions to refine your data organization.

  6. Verify Applied Sort Conditions

After adding all your desired sort conditions, observe your view to ensure the records are organized according to your specified rules. The view will automatically update.
