Here's how to add a description to a form group in Airtable

  1. Access Forms

    Navigate to the "Forms" tab within your Airtable base to begin editing your forms.

  2. Select a Form

    Choose the specific form you wish to modify from your list of available forms.

  3. Identify Form Group

    On the form canvas, click the form group where you intend to add a descriptive text.

  4. Enable Description

    In the properties panel on the right, find the "Show description" toggle under the "Appearance" section and turn it on.

  5. Add Description Text

    Type your desired descriptive text into the newly visible text box that appears beneath the form group title.

  6. Save Changes

    Click anywhere outside the text box on the form canvas to automatically save the description you entered.

  7. Publish Form (Optional)

    If you want your changes to be live and visible to form users, click the "Publish" button in the top right corner of the screen.
