Here's how to reset your security token in Salesforce

  1. Access User Profile

    Begin by clicking on your profile picture, located in the top-right corner of the Salesforce interface. This action will open a dropdown menu with various options.

  2. Navigate to Settings

    From the profile dropdown menu, select the "Settings" option. This will direct you to your personal settings page where you can manage various account preferences.

  3. Initiate Token Reset

    On the left sidebar of the personal settings page, find and click on "Reset My Security Token" under the "My Personal Information" section. This prepares the system for generating a new token.

  4. Confirm Reset Action

    You will be taken to a page titled "Reset My Security Token." Click the "Reset Security Token" button on this page to confirm your request. Salesforce will then generate a new token.

  5. Retrieve New Token

    After confirming the reset, Salesforce will send an email to the address associated with your account. Open this email to find your newly generated security token.
