Here's how to add navigation items in Salesforce

  1. Access the Navigation Editor

From your Salesforce homepage, locate and click the pencil icon in the top navigation bar. This action opens the navigation editor, allowing you to customize your app's navigation items.

  2. Open the Add Items Window

In the 'Edit Sales App Navigation Items' modal, click the 'Add More Items' button. This will open a new window where you can browse and select additional items to include in your navigation bar.

  3. View All Available Items

Within the 'Add Items' window, navigate to the left sidebar and click the 'All' tab. This displays a comprehensive list of all available items that can be added to your Salesforce navigation bar.

  4. Select and Add Your Item

Browse the list and click the plus icon next to the item you wish to add, such as 'Cases'. Once selected, click the 'Add 1 Nav Item' button at the bottom right to include it in your navigation list.

  5. Save Your Navigation Changes

After adding your desired item, you will return to the 'Edit Sales App Navigation Items' modal. Click the 'Save' button to finalize and apply all changes to your navigation bar.

  6. Verify the New Navigation Item

Once saved, the navigation bar will refresh. Confirm that your newly added item, such as 'Cases', is now visible and accessible in the top navigation bar of your Salesforce app.
