Here's how to add a trusted ip range in Salesforce

  1. Access Salesforce Setup

    Begin by clicking the "Settings" gear icon in the top right corner of your Salesforce homepage. From the dropdown menu, select "Setup" to navigate to the administrative settings.

  2. Navigate to Security Settings

    Once in the Setup area, locate the left sidebar. Scroll down to the "SETTINGS" section and click on "Security" to reveal security-related options.

  3. Open Network Access

    Within the Security submenu, find and click "Network Access." This section manages the IP addresses from which users can log in without additional verification.

  4. Initiate New IP Range Creation

    On the Network Access page, locate the "Trusted IP Ranges" section. Click the "New" button to open the form for defining a new trusted IP range.

  5. Define IP Range Details

    In the "Trusted IP Range Edit" form, input the starting IP address in the "Start IP Address" field, the ending IP address in the "End IP Address" field, and a descriptive label in the "Description" field.

  6. Save the Trusted IP Range

    After entering all the required IP range information, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the form to finalize and add the new trusted IP range to your Salesforce instance.
