Here's how to add a button to an email in Mailchimp
- Start a New Email Campaign
Begin by navigating to the "Create" button in the Mailchimp dashboard. From the creation options, select "Design Email" under the Regular email section to open the email editor and start building your campaign.
- Locate the Button Block
Once in the email editor, look for the content blocks listed in the left sidebar. Find the "Button" block, which allows you to add a clickable call-to-action to your email.
- Add the Button to Your Email
Click and hold the "Button" block, then drag it from the sidebar and drop it into the desired section of your email layout. Once placed, the button's settings panel will automatically open on the left.
- Configure Button Content
With the button's settings panel open, navigate to the "Content" tab. Here, you can define the text that appears on your button and input the URL that the button will link to when clicked.
- Customize Button Appearance
Switch to the "Styles" tab within the button's settings panel. This section allows you to adjust the button's visual properties, such as its shape, border, background color, and text color, to match your email design.
- Review Your Button
After customizing both the content and style of your button, review it within your email preview. Ensure it looks as intended and functions correctly by checking the link if possible.
