Here's how to add paid and organic traffic columns to a report in Ahrefs

  1. Access Site Explorer

Begin by navigating to the Ahrefs dashboard and clicking on the 'Site Explorer' option in the top menu bar. This is your entry point for analyzing specific domains.

  2. Enter a Domain for Analysis

On the Site Explorer page, locate the input field and type in the domain or URL you wish to analyze. Ensure the correct protocol (http/https) and scope (domain/subdomain) are selected.

  3. Initiate the Search

After entering the domain, click the search button to proceed. Ahrefs will then gather and display data for the specified URL.

  4. Navigate to Paid Keywords

From the left-hand sidebar, under the 'Paid search' section, click on 'Paid keywords'. This will take you to a report detailing keywords for which the domain is running paid ads.

  5. Open the Columns Menu

In the 'Paid keywords' report, click the 'Columns' button, usually found in the top right corner of the results table. This action reveals a dropdown menu with various data columns you can add or remove.

  6. Display Traffic Columns

Within the columns dropdown, check the boxes next to 'Paid traffic' and 'Organic traffic'. This will add these two columns to your report, allowing for a direct comparison of traffic from both sources.
