Here's how to add alt text to an image in ActiveCampaign
- Open Your Email Campaign
Start by navigating to your email campaign in the ActiveCampaign editor. This is the initial state where you can begin editing your email content.
- Select the Image
Click on the specific image within your email layout that you wish to add alt text to. This action will activate the image's properties panel on the right side of the screen.
- Locate the Alternate Text Field
In the right-hand settings panel that appears, scroll down until you find the input field labeled "Alternate text." This is where you will enter your image description.
- Enter Descriptive Alt Text
Type a brief and accurate description of the image into the "Alternate text" field. This text will be displayed if the image fails to load and is read by screen readers.
- Confirm Automatic Saving
The alt text you entered will be saved automatically as you type. You can verify its presence in the field after inputting your description.
