How to Arrange Names in Alphabetical Order in MS Excel

Yes, you can sort by last name in Excel. If your data has separate columns for first and last names, simply select the last name column and follow the same sorting process. When you select and sort just one column, only that column will be rearranged, which may separate related data. To keep entire rows together, select all columns containing related data before sorting. Excel will maintain the relationship between data in the same row during the sort process.
