Here's how to add a diagram to a miro board in Miro
- Open Your Miro Board
Navigate to your Miro dashboard and open the specific board where you intend to add a diagram. This will be your workspace for the new diagram.
- Access the Tools Menu
On the left side of your Miro board, locate and click the plus (+) icon. This action will expand the tools menu, providing access to various elements you can add.
- Select the Diagram Tool
From the expanded tools menu, find and select the 'Diagram' option. This will prepare Miro to add a new diagram block to your board.
- Place the Diagram Block
After selecting the diagram tool, click anywhere on your Miro board's canvas. This action will place an empty diagram block, ready for content.
- Choose Diagram Creation Method
Within the newly placed diagram block, you have two options: click 'Create with AI' to generate a diagram automatically, or click 'Add shapes' to build it manually.
- Build Your Diagram Manually
If you chose 'Add shapes', Miro will enter a focus mode. Drag and drop various shapes from the left panel onto the canvas to construct your diagram.
- Exit Diagramming Mode
Once your diagram is complete, click the 'Back to Canvas' button located at the top of the screen to exit the diagramming focus mode and return to your main board.
