Here's how to add an email address to a github organization in GitHub

  1. Access Your Profile Menu

    Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the GitHub dashboard to open the user menu.

  2. Navigate to Organization Settings

    From the dropdown menu, select "Organizations" to view a list of organizations you are a part of.

  3. Select an Organization

    Click the "Settings" button next to the specific organization for which you want to add an email address.

  4. Locate the Email Field

    On the organization's General settings page, find the "Email (will be public)" field.

  5. Enter the Email Address

    Type the email address you wish to associate with your organization into the designated field.

  6. Save Profile Changes

    Scroll down the page and click the "Update profile" button to apply and save the new email address.

  7. Confirm Update

    A "Profile updated." message will appear at the top of the page, confirming that the email address has been successfully added.
