Here's how to compare date ranges in Ahrefs
- Access Site Explorer
Navigate to Site Explorer from the top menu to begin analyzing a domain. This is the entry point for in-depth website analysis within Ahrefs.
- Enter Domain for Analysis
Input the domain or URL you wish to analyze into the search bar and initiate the search. Ensure the correct protocol (http/https) and subdomain settings are selected.
- Go to Organic Keywords
From the left sidebar, select "Organic keywords" under the "Organic search" section to view detailed keyword data for the analyzed domain.
- Open Comparison Options
Locate and click the "Don't compare" dropdown menu within the results toolbar. This action will reveal various options for comparing your current data with historical periods.
- Select a Comparison Date Range
Choose a predefined or custom date range from the dropdown to compare your current organic keyword data against. This will update the report to show changes over time.
